Located near the "Mark Twain National Forest" and "The Ozark Trail" Explore local Missouri attractions including "Huzzah Conservation Area" and "Onondaga Cave State Park". 10 1/2 miles east of Steelville, Missouri on Hwy 8, and then left on to Butts Road to Bass' River Resort.
The Meramec Music Theatre was started around 20 years ago in downtown Steelville in an old car dealership.. by our local Dentist.. Dr. Colbert. In 2000 it was relocated to a new facility on Hwy 8 west.. It's a 600 seat sloped curved seating huge stage... The theatre offers a wide variety of musical entertainment ranging from gospel to bluegrass to down home country music.
